To bring MACC-POW! (Macclesfield’s comic art festival) to a close this year we have something totally bodacious for you all! A one-off screening of the original 90s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film no less, at Macclesfield’s independent cinema CINEMAC in the Old Sunday school on Roe Street.The TURTLES defined a self-publishing movement in comics in the early 1980s, and have continued to be just as relevant to this day, so we thought it would be a perfect film to capture the spirit of our comics festival!Then after the film, your ticket also gives you the chance to enjoy NYC STYLE PIZZA SLICES at Chestergate’s latest hot-spot THE DEPOT. Tucked behind the main row of shops, it’s home to Honest Crust Pizza, purveyors of their famous sour dough pizza, that can be found in the Picturedrome.So hang-out after, eat pizza, talk about the film and enjoy some music spun by our DJ for the night...
