As consumers become more driven to make sustainable buying decisions, retailers have to ensure their businesses deliver on sustainability.

Retailers can make sustainable improvements in all facets of their operations. Developing refillable packaging, making new materials for clothing, or finding efficient ways to recycle used goods are all examples of strategies to address sustainability. Such a broad phrase encompasses an infinite number of tasks and projects.Nevertheless, retailers are at a disadvantage because they are in charge of adding more products into the world so they need to make sure sustainability is a priority and find ways to ensure their products meet sustainable requirements but without greenwashing. Despite the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, sustainability remains a top priority for many UK consumers when they’re shopping, according to a report from American Express, the research reveals that 65% of UK consumers think about the environmental impact of the items they buy, while 41% say they prefer to shop locally rather than online, reducing the carbon footprint associated with digital deliveries.In this webinar we will explore how retailers can develop their products sustainably and lead the change that is needed for a more circular economy.
