Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. A walking tour looking at refugee groups finding sanctuary in Norwich

<h3>IN-PERSON EVENT</h3><h2>Join us for a short stroll through Norwich looking at documents relating to 7 groups of refugees who have made the city their home over the past 500 years. Find out how the city welcomed them in, and their subsequent contribution to shape Norwich into the city it is now.</h2><h3>The walk takes approximately 90 mins- we ask that you wear sensible footwear and come dressed for the weather.</h3><h3><a href="https://norfolkrecordofficeblog.org/events-july-october-2022" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a></h3><h3><strong>If you are no longer able to attend please cancel your ticket so the place can be reallocated to someone on our waiting list.</strong></h3><h3></h3>
