In partnership with Liverpool City Council, Mersey Care and Everton in the Community, we're delighted to offer our BarberTalk and Hair &amp; BeautyTalk course LIVE at The Peoples Place Liverpool, to barbers and hair &amp; beauty professionals from businesses/organisations based in Liverpool City Council Region (please see below for eligible areas). Thanks to funding from Liverpool City Council, we can offer this course for FREE.You’re more than a just a barber, a hairdresser, a beauty therapist.As a professional in one of these roles, you have so much to offer your community. After such a unique and challenging time, we've all felt many emotions and your clients will be sharing their experiences with you. Our BarberTalk / Hair &amp; Beauty Talk training can help you prepare for those conversations, give you guidance on when and what to ask and how to listen. You’re more than a just a barber, a hairdresser, a beauty therapist. You’re a safe space for someone to feel some support and kindness. This is an opportunity for you to make a difference to someone’s life. BarberTalk and Hair &amp; Beauty Talk LIVE is an in-depth session that builds on the four pillars of our training to equip you with the skills to help your clients to better mental wellbeing:<ul><li>Gives you the tools to RECOGNISE mental health issues in your clients</li><li>Equips you to be able to ASK direct questions about the emotional wellbeing of your clients</li><li>Refines your LISTENING skills to be present at a critical moment for your clients </li><li>Provides you with the resources to HELP your client find support</li></ul>More information about the BarberTalk / Hair &amp; Beauty Talk LIVE courseThe BarberTalk / Hair &amp; Beauty Talk training is a 4-hour course. Not only will you be able to learn directly from founder of the Lions Barber Collective, Tom Chapman and his team of ambassadors, you will come together with other industry cohorts to dive in to the topic of mental health, share how it impacts you and your job, and learn how you can support your clients in your role. The course will be delivered live in person, at: The Peoples Place 46a Spellow Lane, Liverpool, L4 4DF.P﻿arking is available at: Blue Base, Salop Street, L4 4BZWe’re excited to take your training to the next level. Together, we are stronger.Please note that in order to meet eligibility criteria for this free training session, YOU MUST WORK IN LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL REGION. Subject to demand, it may be necessary to limit the number of places per business/organisation on a course date. This training is funded by Liverpool City County Council and a condition of attendance is that contact details and information will be shared between the Lions Barber Collective and Liverpool City County Council for the purpose of keeping in touch with attendees/their business/organisation and also for reporting, monitoring, planning and evaluation purposes.
