Y﻿ogaworks Witney &amp; Calm Minds have collaborated to bring you our first Retreat Event.I﻿mmerse yourself in some special You time in a safe &amp; nurturing environment &amp; a﻿llow us to take you on a journey of empowering Yoga &amp; Calming Sound Mediation.(age 18 +)N﻿atalie is an experienced yoga teacher with ten years plus years of teaching yoga flow classes in Oxfordshire. T﻿his yoga session will stoke your inner fire and celebrate the summer with Sun salutations and a mixture of both challenging and relaxing standing and seated yoga poses.A﻿manda is a training mediation practitioner trained also in Sound Meditation. After you have enjoyed refreshments following the Yoga session, you will be invited to get comfy on the mats with pillows and blankets. Amanda will then guide you into a theta brainwave state, the medative state, through spoken word before playing the specially tuned crystal bowls, gongs and chimes which aid the body to heal and recover both physically and emotionally. You will be letting go of any tension, stress, anxiety and replace with a feeling of calmness and empowerment. S﻿ound Mediation is known to aid sleep, reduce anxiety and high blood pressure, help with the symptoms of menopause as well as physical aches and pains.W﻿hat you can expectA﻿ relaxing morning with like minded peopleR﻿efreshments A﻿ gift from usT﻿o leave feeling fabulousW﻿hat to Bring and WearComfortable clothes with no restricting items.Socks to keep your feet warm.Please no noisy jewellery.Y﻿oga MatBlankets &amp; pillows for the soundbath &amp; extra layers.Please switch off mobile phones.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONSound Baths are not suitable for:Women who are under 12 weeks of pregnancy or over 30 weeks - please check with your doctor.Those with a pacemakerThose with severe or clinical mental health conditions.Those with EpilepsyThose with some cancersIf in doubt please consult your doctor before attendingIf you have metal with the body such as metal plates or joint replacement, you may find the vibration uncomfortable – please check with your doctor before attending.P﻿lease make sure you are fit for Yoga and make the instructor aware of any injuries.
