<p>This seminar asks how technologies for enrichment and support can be deployed in residential aged care in ways that support Tronto’s (1993) Ethics of Care Framework.</p><p>It looks at the challenges and resource constraints facing residential aged care post-COVID and considers how carers, residents, technology designers and the technologies themselves can come together to support an ethical approach to providing care. She leads the Information Systems research group in CIS and is a member of the CIS Executive.  She is an active member of the international health information systems research community with her most recent work being in the areas of online mental health systems and technologies for ageing.   She has published in the premier journals in her field including EJIS, ToCHI, JMIR , Lancet Psychiatry and BMJ.</p><p>Her association with Manchester University includes a shared NIH grant (2015-2017) and a current PhD Student with members of the Division of Psychology and Mental Health. She currently represents the University of Melbourne as lead of the Health Policy and Implementation Hub of the International Centre for Translational Digital Health (ICTDH) which is a shared initiative of the University of Manchester, The University of Toronto and the University of Melbourne. </p><p></p><h3><strong>About  ICTDH the seminar series:</strong></h3><p>The International Centre for Translational Digital Health is a joint collaboration between the University of Toronto, the University of Manchester and the University of Melbourne. The mission of the Centre is to advance the field of Digital Health in Canada, the UK, and Australia through the development, implementation, and translation of new technologies, policies, and service delivery models. The Centre brings together experts from a broad range of disciplines from each institution to share and develop knowledge, engage in collaborative activity, and leverage each other’s distinct national research environments. Its impact is the creation and commercialization of new technologies, the translation of theory into more effective public policy, and the strengthening of health services delivery.</p><p>The International Centre for Translational Digital Health (ICTDH) will host a monthly seminar series, led by the Hub Leads. The purpose of the seminar series is to build an international community in the area of translational digital health and to facilitate the exchange of ideas and international collaborations in translational digital health. </p>
