Discover the mindful art of macrame and create a cotton cord plant hanger you’ll be proud to display in your home.

The Old Courts

This one is for any one who’s window ledges are full of plants! Join us in learning different combinations of macrame knots to create a beautifully designed, functional plant hanger. Choose from a variety of colourful cords and follow along at your own pace as we teach you this therapeutic craft. Leave with a cheat sheet and enough cord to make another plant hanger at home!

This session is for anyone who would like to have a go at a new craft but learns better by watching and doing at the same time, and needs someone to troubleshoot from time to time! Come along with friends for an unusual evening out or have some creative me-time and come alone to our welcoming and friendly space! 
There are two pay-as-you-feel tickets for those experiencing financial hardship. If you feel like this applies to you (we won&#x27;t ask any questions!), please email marketing@everydaywigan.org.uk to book your ticket. PLEASE NOTE: This session is an 18+ event. One ticket is required per person attending.PLEASE NOTE: In order to make our events financially sustainable, we do need 5 or more bookings for the workshop to go ahead. We will be in touch 24 hours before the start time in the event that we do need to cancel. On the rare occasion this does need to take place, you will receive a full refund.REFUND POLICY: If you find you cannot attend the event, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We cannot offer refunds if you cancel within 48 hours of the event taking place.How to find us:Everyday is situated in The Old Courts (<a href="https://www.theoldcourts.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.theoldcourts.com/</a>) and the session will be held in the Community Room. Please come to entrance 5 (you will see an Everyday sign!) and a member of staff will let you in a few minutes before the start time. Don’t worry if you are late! We will check the door periodically if any attendees are missing.Public Transport: The Old Courts is a 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) from Wigan Bus Station, a 2 minute walk (0.1 miles) from Wigan Wallgate Railway Station and a 3 minute walk (0.2 miles) from Wigan North Western Railway Station.Parking: There is room for cars to pick up and drop off just outside The Old Courts on Crawford Street. Parking on Crawford Street is free after 6.30pm and on Sundays.Nearby car parks include The Grand Arcade (4 minute walk / 0.2 miles), Mona Street Car Park (4 minute walk / 0.2 miles) and Dorning Street Car Park (2 minute walk / 0.2 miles).Blue badge holders are entitled to park on the single yellow line on Crawford Street during its times of operation for up to 3 hours without charge.Accessibility: The Community Room at The Old Courts is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible toilet facilities.
