Care for the Carers, in partnership with East Sussex Wellbeing at Work, are delivering this  webinar for local employers and businesses

1 in 10 people in East Sussex cares for someone, and most of the time whilst working. They are working parents of young children or employees looking after a family member, a friend or a neighbour who couldn’t manage by themselves. As we celebrate Carer's Week in June, we'd like to recognise the contribution employees with caring responsibilities make to families and communities in the UK and also highlight the challenges they face, especially when juggling it with work. There are 69,000 unpaid carers in East Sussex, and having a supportive employer can make a positive difference. The webinar will look at the challenges faced by carers, what employers can do to support and how Care for the Carers can make a difference.This webinar, presented by Carole Gregory, Carer Awareness Officer at Care for the Carers East Sussex, is great opportunity for HR professionals, wellbeing leads, business owners and line managers to look at the challenges faced by unpaid carers, think about the strategies you could put in place at work to support your staff who are also unpaid carers, and how Care for the Carers can help.
