Deptford X is a visual arts charity based in Deptford, South East London. We foster artistic talent and nurture community within the borough of Lewisham and beyond. We achieve this through a free biennial festival in Deptford and ongoing activity supporting artists and our local communities throughout the year.Founded in 1998, Deptford X is London’s longest-running visual arts festival. Every two years, we stage a free, ten-day festival, working with hundreds of artists to locate art at the centre of everyday life for all of the area’s communities.

Introduction and information for artists, volunteers and venues. This will take place on Zoom and will be recorded for our website.This is the first session of DX Meet-Ups 2023. Throughout the series, you can:<ul><li>Learn more about Deptford X Fringe - what it means to be part of the Fringe, how to apply, chat through support available, advice on venues to approach, talk through projects.</li><li> Get to know other local artists, community groups, and creatives</li><li> Share your thoughts on the sort of support you would want as a Fringe artist and shape the way the Fringe works.</li><li>Pair your artwork up with a prospective venue, or vice versa.</li><li>Find out about volunteering with us, offering up space at your venue and how else you can help out.</li></ul>
