Deptford X is a visual arts charity based in Deptford, South East London. We foster artistic talent and nurture community within the borough of Lewisham and beyond. We achieve this through a free biennial festival in Deptford and ongoing activity supporting artists and our local communities throughout the year.Founded in 1998, Deptford X is London’s longest-running visual arts festival. Every two years, we stage a free, ten-day festival, working with hundreds of artists to locate art at the centre of everyday life for all of the area’s communities.

Throughout the series, you can:<ul><li>Learn more about Deptford X Fringe - what it means to be part of the Fringe, how to apply, chat through support available, advice on venues to approach, talk through projects.</li><li> Get to know other local artists, community groups, and creatives</li><li> Share your thoughts on the sort of support you would want as a Fringe artist and shape the way the Fringe works.</li><li>Pair your artwork up with a prospective venue, or vice versa.</li><li>Find out about volunteering with us, offering up space at your venue and how else you can help out.</li></ul>
