Maria is an ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Coach, EcoNidra Teacher, Therapetic writing teacher, story weaving facilitator and Mindfulness/ Compassion Teacher.She is the founder of Mindful Connections where she facilitates both individual, group and private experiences to help increase balance, stillness and much needed rest.She works with public groups, 1:1 individualised coaching & mentoring and private teams to help promote  wellbeing, balance and resilience.After a period of work related burn out in 2001 and 2002, Maria found a path to her own restoration during a solo journey along the West Coast of Ireland.She is dedicated to helping  others find their own balance, stillness and rediscovery through the healing power of Nature and Connection, natural silence and self care practices.

Nature journalling is a great way to explore our relationship with nature and gain the insights and wisdoms that it has offered us It enables us to reflect inwards to our inner nature and is often quite transformative. This session of our nature journalling we are focussing on the element of water - our oceans and rivers.You will be guided through a number of writing styles and prompts to unearth some of the reflections that water offers you.May be for you it will be in the frozen form or maybe a torrent of a gushing waterfall.When we reflect on the mirrors of water, Dr Emoto’s work always springs to mind, you will discover more about some of his work on this evening and how different energies can effect the flow and patterns.You do not need any writing experience for this class.There is no right way or wrong way of doing this. Journalling can be a stream of your thoughts, words, prose and poems - it can be colours, drawings, abstract or collage.For me, writing can be simply a moment in time to go within to both acknowledge and express the insights, thoughts and wisdoms that you may have.Studies have shown the therapeutic benefits of journal therapy including clearer perspectives, release, stress reduction and increased compassion.Nature is an amazing teacher and healer.When we spend time with nature we start to rebuild relationships with the world around us and the world within us.Nature Journalling offers us a beautiful blend of these elements.Join us live via zoom for this fabulous session. 6:30 - 8:00 pmFull details of what to bring ( eg journals etc) will be sent to you on registration.£10 per person

Our groups all run with a minimum of 6 participants. In the event of limited numbers, we will postpone the event to a later date - In this eventuality, you will be informed of this and given options of alternative dates, approx one week prior to the event. CancellationsCancellations received in writing (via email) prior to 7 days before the event start date , will be offered a refund less eventbrite fees.Less than 7 days and up to 24 hours prior to the start, you will be offered an alternative date to transfer your booking.Cancellation 24 hours or less prior to event start, no refund or transfer will be offered.
