The film The Railway Children Return, will be shown at the Methodist Church, Station Road. Bamber Bridge. PR5 6ED. This film is set in Yorkshire during world war two, where a group of young children evacuated to a small village encounter a young African American soldier (Abe) who, like them, is far away from his home. The film is based loosely on a real-life incident in Lancashire in 1943 which left one soldier dead. The film will be introduced by its’ producer Gemma Rodgers Doors open at 18.40hrs film starts at 19.00hrsThanks to Studio Canal for allowing us to show the film.Preston Black History Group
