Celebrate a Caribbean Takeover of the Georgian Commissioner’s House and its grand gardens on Saturday 29th July 2023. In celebration of Windrush, live entertainment and attractions include:<ul><ul><li>Caribbean brunch and High-Tea, with butler service in the VIP area or a family-friendly picnic box </li></ul><ul><li>Afro Classics Car Club displaying lovingly restored vehicles from the Windrush era and beyond</li></ul><ul><li>A vibrant art exhibition with an opportunity to meet our artist-in-residence</li></ul><ul><li>A Cultural Market showcasing the best of Afro-Caribbean high-quality products</li></ul><ul><li>The inaugural performance of a commemorative poem specially commissioned for the 75th Diamond Anniversary of Windrush</li></ul><ul><li>Live performances by classically trained Black musicians</li></ul><ul><li>Children’s story-telling corner with an opportunity to meet some of the Black authors</li></ul><ul><li>Rum punch bar</li></ul><ul><li>Caribbean Summer Fete with Kente head-wrapping, children’s face painting, close-up magician &amp; more</li></ul><ul><li>A beautiful picnic area for families</li></ul><ul><li>D﻿J and dancing.</li></ul>M﻿enuBrunch: Jerk Chicken.
