Get ready to dive into a world of creativity as we create unique bee beads using terracotta clay and learn about the fascinating world of beekeeping and Sunderland&#x27;s honey bees.During this hands-on workshop, artist Michael Emmott will guide you through the process of sculpting your very own bee bead using terracotta clay. Unleash your imagination and bring your bee to life as you shape and mold the clay under Michael&#x27;s expert guidance. Once complete, your bee beads will be fired in a kiln, ready for you to collect and treasure later.In addition to bee bead making, we will also be making wild seed bombs. Learn about the importance of pollinators and how we can support them by creating seed bombs filled with native wildflower seeds. These seed bombs can be taken home and scattered in your garden or other suitable locations, providing nourishment and habitat for bees and other pollinators.Throughout the event, the Crazy Bee Lady will be present to share her knowledge and passion for beekeeping. Discover interesting facts about honey bees, their behavior, and their vital role in our ecosystem. You&#x27;ll have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about sustainable beekeeping practices, and gain a deeper appreciation for these incredible creatures.<h3>Event Details:</h3>-Children must be accompanied by an adult.- All materials and equipment will be provided.- Kiln firing of bee beads will be done after the event, and participants will be notified when they are ready for collection.- Registration is required for this event due to limited spaces.- A sensory story is available below for families who want to prepare ahead of time
