We are the largest sexual violence support provider in Wales, with 30 years’ experience of delivering specialist therapeutic support to adults and children affected by the trauma of rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse.As a charitable organisation, we offer afull range of free specialist crisis, advocacy, wellbeing and counselling services.  We are widely regarded throughout the UK as a leading organisation in our field.Our dedicated team of over 150 staff and volunteers do everything that they can to ensure that our clients receive an excellent service that meets their needs; we feel that they deserve no less.We support nearly 4,000 people each year.Beyond that, we useour experience and expertise to train and educate otherson the wide-ranging impact of rape and sexual abuse, and use our voice to advocate for those who are often silenced by stigma.Our training departmenthas been delivering expert courses on topics from Working Safely With Trauma to Safeguardingfor over 20 years. We have trained thousands offrontline practitioners, volunteers and professionals,and have gained areputation for excellencein this area. In 2020-2021 alone we trained more than 4400 people, and99% of course attendees rated the courses ‘very good’ or ‘excellent.’

New Pathways Merthyr Tydfil (SARC)

For our 30th Anniversary, we are bringing together survivors, staff and members of the public to contribute to a community art piece. We will be creating a tree of leaves and blossoms made with paint, felt, tissue paper, crayons, and even macrame!The tree will be displayed at our Sexual Violence Conference for our 30th anniversary in September 2023. It will then find its home in our new Newport venue, Rothbury House.People can also add a secret message. This could be about their experiences with sexual violence, their hopes for the future, to show their support, or something else.
