Burton Road Events hosts regular community socials, networking events, singles nights, family events, creative writing workshops and guided journaling sessions across West Didsbury, Withington and South Manchester.Our events take place in independent Burton Road venues and are designed to help locals meet new people, feel connected and enjoy their neighbourhood. Join us for one of our upcoming single's nights; designed to help you meet someone special! Conversation cards, a quiz and games are all included to get you chatting. The host is on hand to help with introductions & creating a safe place for you to enjoy!

💕 Join us for a special singles evening, designed to help you meet your perfect match. The age range for this event is 25 - 40; however if you fall just out of this range and would still like to attend then drop us a message (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/burton_road/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@burton_road</a>). This event is only open to lesbian and bisexual women!🥂 You can grab a drink on arrival and there will be plenty of opportunities to sample Reserve Wine&#x27;s incredible collection through the evening. The founder of this wonderful venue is Kate Goodman, who runs her own Women in Wine series, so it seemed like the perfect spot.📝 We will start with a quiz to get you chatting and give you the chance to show off your knowledge. You can pick your teams for the first part of the evening but we&#x27;d strongly encourage you to join new people and split from any friends you may have come with if you feel comfortable to do so.👄There will then be a social break to give you chance to float round the room at your own pace and chat to anyone who&#x27;s caught your eye.🎲 During this time we will set up a table with lots of different games and you can pick out the ones you think you&#x27;d enjoy playing. Again, we&#x27;d encourage you to play with people who weren&#x27;t in your quiz team to enable you to meet as many new people as possible.🍹The last part of the evening is all over to you! Enjoy getting to know some like- minded locals and hopefully meet someone extra special along the way.👕 Dress code: whatever makes you feel most comfortable and confident!
