As part of our longstanding commitment to leadership training in the public sector, we wish to invite you to the first in a series of webinars with Rene Barrett, entitled, &quot;Being a Good Leader&quot;. The webinar is free CPD for HR practitioners and senior leaders operating in the public sector and will be followed by two subsequent events, culminating in our Public Sector Leadership Conference in November. B﻿eing a Good LeaderBehaviour in work not only impacts individual staff engagement and satisfaction, but also the experiences of citizens/patients, quality of service and organizational performance. We need to better understand how to motivate public servants to enhance employee productivity, engagement and innovation whilst protecting their wellbeing. Happiness, joy, compassion and kindness – leadership which focusses on developing workplaces which embody these values and behaviours are much more likely to develop greater collaboration, better quality of service and innovation.Rene has been an independent development consultant for over 20 years, a fellow of the CIPD, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Her previous experience includes - Director of Development at North West Employers, Assistant Director of HR with Salford MBC and Director of Learning for the GMB trade union.
