We are delighted to present a vibrant classical music concert program by prominent Ukrainian classical musicians.The enchanting soprano Maryana Bodnar, the soloist at the National Operetta of Ukraine, accompanied by a brilliant pianist Svitlana Shamina. Also a special guests young virtuosos Sofiia Matviienko flute and Nik Sheva piano bring you a celebration of the harmonious fusion of Ukrainian and British talent. Prepare to be transported to a realm of timeless elegance during this two-part program of European classics like Bizet- Habanera, Britten, Tosti, hot Spanish Zarzuela, and Ukrainian legends like Skoryk, Lyatoshynskiy, Barvinsky, Dychko and many more. Their enchanting melodies will kindle a passionate flame within your soul, evoking profound emotions and sparking the fires of dreams.The concert aims to raise funds for an orphanage in Myshuryn Rih, Dnipro region. This specialised children’s home looks after 130 orphaned disabled boys. All of the boys have been brought there from various regions in Ukraine including Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Donetsk regions. The building has been damaged from the shelling and requires repair and refurbishment. Our donation would allow to improve the living conditions for the boys.In partnership with our Ukrainian community in London and especially the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain - London Branch and Association of Ukrainian Women in Great Britain- London, we hope that through music we can make a difference.For in the embrace of music, we find strength and rekindling hope. Together, we can make a difference, mending the broken threads of lives torn apart.
