J﻿oin us for events from our Member's meetups to training, support, advice and peer support on how you can carry out community led climate action projects, initiatives and facilities in your area. We regularly hold events and training activities designed to help your community address your community needs through climate action projects in the just transition towards net zero.

Join us to understand how your community can get involved in the Highlands and Islands Climate Fetival this Setember!

The Highlands and Islands Climate Festival is back with a bang for 2023 and we would love to share how to get involved. Join our friendly team on Wednesday 12th June from 2pm to learn all about the festival and how you can get involved. <a href="https://hiclimatehub.co.uk/ourwork/highlands-and-islands-climate-festival" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">You can read the details to date here. </a>This session is open to all community groups within the Highlands and Islands with an interest in getting involved in the festival, we’ll cover the following topics: <ul><li>Funding</li><li>How to use the events &amp; resources pages on the dedicated festival website</li><li>Using the festival branding pack</li><li>Hints and tips on how to promote events effectively</li></ul>The festival will boast its own, dedicated website and social media channels which will launch in early July. Communites are encouraged to apply for funding NOW via one of two opportunities: <ol><li>The Events Fund - offering up to £250 to cover things like professsional fees, resources and travel expenses. </li><li>The Big Loal Picnic Fund - offering up to £200 to cover the specific costs around hosting a picnic which celebrates local food and drink. </li></ol><a href="https://hiclimatehub.co.uk/ourwork/highlands-and-islands-climate-festival" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Get all the details you need on funding and apply, here. </a>At the session, we’ll discuss with attendees how you could access additional funds via our Development Team’s discretionary fund.
