Dungaree Making Workshop with Sam &amp; AliHave you always fancied a pair of Lucy &amp; Yak inspired dungarees made to your own size in the fabric of your choice - well now you can!Join us for a fun and interactive Dungaree Making Workshop with the talented duo, Sam &amp; Ali. Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn the art of making stylish dungarees from scratch! This in-person workshop will take place on Wed Sep 20 2023 at 10:30 AM. We can't wait to welcome you to our venue located at Manor Road, Horbury, WF4 6HH.During this hands-on workshop, Sam &amp; Ali will guide you through the entire process of creating your own unique dungarees, helping you to master new sewing techniques, gain valuable skills and leave with a fabulous pair of dungarees to show off! Suitable for confident beginners and experienced sewers alike. (You must be able to thread a sewing machine &amp; sew in a straight line &amp; made a few things before). We will be using the Heyday dungarees pattern from Waves &amp; Wild &amp; if you don't already own the pattern, we've negotiated a special 30% off discount with the designer, which will be sent to you on booking.The Heydays are a loose fitting dungaree pattern, available in 12 sizes for adults or you can make some for the kiddos too, which can be worn turned up at the ankle, there's no zips or buttons, so that you can concentrate on enjoying the sewing process while learning some new skills, such as topstitching, pattern matching your pockets &amp; buttonholes, should you choose that option.Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn from the best in the business. (If you need a hand determining your size, please contact us &amp; we'll happily advise you) * 1.5 to 3.5 metres of stable woven fabric, such as cotton twill, drill or poplin, denim, chambray, linen or corduroy.(Please check size chart below for info for how much fabric to bring and fabric recommendations. If you aren’t sure, please contact us) We recommend that you wash this prior to the class* Matching thread* If you would prefer to bring your own machine, just let us know &amp; ensure that you have the power cable, pedal &amp; all the bits &amp; pieces that came with it.* Glasses if you need them - don't forget them!SKILL LEVELBeginner/IntermediateSuitable for adults who have never made a garment before but are confident using a sewing machine.
