Try something new this summer!  Our summer programmes are for young people aged 11-19 to get creative in a relaxed and friendly environment.

St Mark's R C Primary Academy

21-23 August, 1pm-3pm every day, plus optional free lunch 12-1pmSt Mark&#x27;s RC Primary School, Newbiggin Hall, Newcastle-upon-TyneNew Writing North&#x27;s free summer programmes are for young people aged 11-19 to try fun writing projects, meet like-minded people and make something new in a relaxed, friendly and inclusive environment.Pick n Mix is a jam-packed programme of creativity with something for everyone! Come along to meet other young people and try out a range of activities from theatre to creative writing to songwriting.Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Creative Family Drop-insFamilies of all ages are invited to come along in the mornings from 10am-12pm to take part in creative workshops, followed by a free lunch from 12pm-1pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult for these workshops. No need to book, just turn up.

DonationsTickets are free, but if you’re able to, please consider making a donation. Your money will support our free creative writing programmes for 12-25 year olds, which run throughout the year, including in many areas where there are fewer opportunities.The aim of all our work is to help young people to realise their potential. We develop skills, nurture talent and encourage young people to get involved and have a go at creative writing. We create environments where young writers can make friends, develop their confidence, try out new things and have fun!Our suggested donation is £25, but anything you can give will enable us to help young people to make brilliant work. Thank you!
