Founded in 2004, Global Generation is an educational charity, which works together with local children and young people, businesses, residents and families across London to create healthy, integrated and environmentally responsible communities. Global Generation's work at the Story Garden in Camden connects people of all ages to nature in the middle of the city.Join the gardening team on August 26th from 1- 4 p.m. for a hands-on gardening session where you will get to see what goes into running an urban garden site. You will be able to get your hands in the soil and learn about identifying plants, saving seeds, planting for autumn and more!Come and learn about greening the city landscape and how you can add plant life to your local streets, planters and estates! The team will showcase the work they do as part of Future Neighbourhoods 2030 to bring more green spaces to the local Somers Town area.
