Chemistry is the science of stuff, of atoms and molecules, but how does that stuff help add the sparkle to Christmas? Join Katherine Haxton as we walk in the footsteps of Michael Faraday and consider how chemistry is essential to lighting up our Christmas and bringing sparkle to the darkest point in the year. We will consider the chemistry of Christmas past and present then contemplate what Christmas may be like in the future. All from the perspective of atoms, molecules, and things that glow. How better to see in Christmas than with a night of live chemistry?!
