Social impact measurement in practice: tools, approaches, examplesA w﻿ebinar hosted by FUSE Norwich - building a thriving social enterprise sector in NorwichThis session will provide an overview of impact measurement and theory of change. We will explore what is meant by these terms and why developing your theory of change and embedding impact measurement is so important for social enterprises, charities and voluntary organisations. We’ll cover some examples of putting impact measurement into practice, as well as some practical tips for getting started. 
There will also be an opportunity to discuss your experiences of impact measurement with others at the session in small groups and hear about what other people are doing. T﻿he facilitator
Sean Gladwin is the Director of Enriched Consulting Ltd, an independent consultancy which collaborates with organisations to improve performance and generate a greater, more sustainable impact for their beneficiaries and communities. Sean has worked and volunteered across the public and VCSE sectors for the last 26 years in both operational and strategic roles, working with some of society’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged people. 

For the past 15 years Sean has been strongly focused on monitoring and evaluation. He has extensive experience of evaluation and impact measurement techniques that truly help to understand and evidence the impact of services. Sean has undertaken social impact evaluations for over 50 projects with a wide range of client groups and of varying scales. Using findings from these evaluations Sean has supported other leaders and stakeholders to understand this information, enabling them to achieve greater impact with a value for money approach.LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/sean-gladwin-b372a614
