Come join a FREE programme of arts activities this summer! From 28 July – 17  August 2023 all in the Chisenhale Learn + Play + Create Space! Created by Chisenhale Dance Space, Chisenhale Gallery, & Chisenhale Studios and supported by Action for Bow

A fun, interactive workshop suitable for all ages and designed for absolute beginners- learn the basic steps of Kathak dance with professional dancer <a href="https://linktr.ee/tulani_" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tulani Kayani-Skeef</a> from Sujata Banerjee Dance Company!Workshops are designed for children aged 6 to 12 and their adults. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.Booking guarantees a place but drop-ins will be accommodated within capacity.Please wear comfortable clothing, trainers, and bring a water bottle.Please be aware that C﻿hisenhale Dance Space is on the third floor, and there is no lift or wheelchair access. She is currently a company dancer and teacher at Sujata Banerjee Dance Company. Since graduating from CAT (Centre for Advanced Training) dance programme, Tulani has performed in leading dance competitions such as BBC Young Dancer 2019 and the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) Bursary Awards, as well as performing in a number of renowned venues like Sadler’s Wells, Royal Festival and The British Library.Chisenhale Dance Space (CDS) has been making space for artists to lead, experiment and create for over 40 years. We support an Artist Community independent artists who shape our programmes, ethos, &amp; ethics. Artists span all ages &amp; roles within experimental performance: as performers, choreographers, teachers, curators, producers &amp; advocates for change in the sector.
