Burton Road Events hosts regular community socials, networking events, singles nights, family events, creative writing workshops and guided journaling sessions across West Didsbury, Withington and South Manchester.Our events take place in independent Burton Road venues and are designed to help locals meet new people, feel connected and enjoy their neighbourhood. Our first intergenerational social to bring people together and learn from one another. Age guide for this ticket is 20 - 35 (more listed!)

🤍 Our first intergenerational social aims to bring together locals from across a wide age spectrum, to get to know people they may not otherwise have met and learn from one another. 💕 Increasingly, we socialise almost exclusively with people in a similar age bracket to ourselves but it's always great to challenge our perspectives on things and learn what people of different ages may be experiencing. 👄 We'll start the evening with some informal chat and conversation cards to allow everyone to get to know one another. 📝 We'll then move on to an intergenerational quiz, designed to pool collective knowledge from different age groups and walks of life.🎲 Afterwards, there will be some games (old and new!) to hopefully allow everyone the chance to play a well loved favourite and / or learn something new.🍹I will be moving people around tables throughout the evening so you get chance to chat with everyone, but the final part is open socialising so you can chat with everyone in the space.👕 Dress code: whatever you are most comfortable in!
