This tour discusses  Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and how we address the legacies of slavery and Empire in this space.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

From its foundation, Kelvingrove Museum has been shaped by Empire and slavery. This tour led by Nelson Cummins, Curator of Legacies of slavery and empire will explore this history in the present day Kelvingrove through a tour of some of the current galleries and displays in the museum. We will meet in the Central Hall of Kelvingrove Art Gallery &amp; Museum.This event is part of programming for Black History Month in Scotland 2023.
