Will we cover the same material as that in your excellent Accident Investigation training?

No.. I'm clear that this is an entirely different session covering the themes that will help you to be better prepared to investigate a work related death

Will the session just look at how to investigate a fatality?

Accepted Answer

No, it's much broader.  In the morning we look at the Work Related Deaths Protocol and the then the practicalities of investigating a fatality saving you from reinventing the wheel.  In the afternoon we look at coroners inquests

Will there be any practical exercises?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you will have plenty of opportunity to discuss issues and key elements as a group and to 'shout up' individually.

Question 4

Do I need to have any previous experience of fatal incident investigation to attend?

Accepted Answer

No, not really.  It will help if you have a grounding in incident investigation and better still have attended my incident investigation session, but don't worry if not.  The session is pitched at all levels of knowledge and experience.
