Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) 1 Day Course &amp; Qualification.Tickets £75-£85 + VAT (note for 4 or more tickets or for other booking queries please email: admin@dunbartonshirechamber.co.uk and we will assist - invoices will be issued for larger bookings)(Includes Tea, Coffee and Sandwich Lunch)This one-day EFAW qualification will equip participants with basic life-saving first aid skills and an understanding of workplace health and safety regulations. The course is approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and delegates will receive certification upon completion of the course.Key Workplace First Aid Themes covered include:<ul><li>Responsibilities of a First Aider</li><li>Aims of First Aid</li><li>What Should a First Aid Kit Contain?</li><li>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li><li>Recording and Reporting (using a RIDDOR form)</li><li>Assessing and Responding to A First Aid Emergency</li><li>CPR and Defibrillators</li><li>Unconscious Casualties and the Recovery Position</li><li>Wounds, Bleeding and Shock</li><li>Burns</li><li>Other injuries</li></ul>Specifically, the course will cover CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and provide delegates with the knowledge they need to attend to.* We would encourage any business to make the most of their qualification/certification by including this in corporate materials such as websites, email footers, proposals and stationery.We also offer a 3 day first aid course (the one day EFAW) course counts as one of these days if completed separately at a later date).Information is also provided for COVID-19 and Defibrillator GETTING THERE / PARKING

The Whitecrook Business Centre is located a couple of minutes walk from Clydebank train station next to the hand car wash. You will be able to see Screwfix on the ground floor. The Chamber Business Hub is on the 2nd floor facing you as you come out of the stairwell) and lifts are available.

Ample parking is located to the rear of the building.
