This session explores how we can support children and young people to become peace-builders, in our classrooms, schools and communities.

Peace is not just the absence of violence but the presence of positive relationships. We teach about war but how often do we teach about peace? This session explores how we can support children and young people to become peace-builders, in our classrooms, schools and wider communities. You will hear from expert speakers from the field of peace education, including Alice Koenig from University of St Andrews Visualising War and Peace project and Ben Harper from Quaker Education Peer Mediation, followed by a Q&amp;A session. We’ll explore methodologies to engage learners in peace education and share relevant resources to support teaching and learning.Notes :	The session will take place online via Google Meet.
