Join Merseyside Youth for Justice and Liverpool Fossil Free Pride for an introduction to our work to get Liverpool Pride to drop Barclays! This event is to welcome new people interested in getting involved; there will be space to learn about the campaign if you are new and ask questions. We will hear from activists already involved in the campaign and share some free snacks. This year we successfully campaigned to get Pride in Liverpool to drop Barclays as a sponsor for their pride march. Barclays is Europe’s largest fossil fuel financier. There is still much more that needs to be done! Pride in Liverpool still let Barclays march in their 2023 parade and they still use them to sponsor their other activities. There are also other private companies that sponsor the event that have negative impacts on climate and social justice, like Unilever for example. Join us to learn about what&#x27;s next!I﻿f you are interested in Global Justice Youth and would like to get involved, you can join our local group. We meet regularly and always welcome new people. We&#x27;ve organised around climate justice, migrant justice, racial justice and more broadly against the neo-colonial global economy that harms people, especially in the Global South. We organise workshops, trainings, screenings, political education events, protests, creative activities and more!
