Join Global Justice Youth, Student Rebellion, Divest Boarders, Just Stop Oil and more for a welcome gathering for all youth activists under 30!W﻿e&#x27;ll share about the work we all get up to and you&#x27;ll have space to meet people and ask questions. There will be activities and freeeee food. Student Rebellion Leeds is currently campaigning to make the University of Leeds fossil-free through an ethical careers policy, an end to funding from oil, gas, coal and mining companies, and using its institutional power to pressure the national government. They occupied campus&#x27;s second largest lecture theatre for two weeks in October 2022 and camped in central campus for two weeks in May 2023, running educational workshops and causing mischief throughout campus with banner drops, rallies, ceilidhs and chalking. We&#x27;ve organised around climate justice, migrant justice, racial justice and more broadly against the neo-colonial global economy that harms people, especially in the Global South. We organise workshops, trainings, screenings, political education events, protests, creative activities and more!
