The kids just crave that calculus.Beth BullasBeth is a third year Musical Theatre student at Leeds Conservatoire, with a passion for bringing women's untold stories to life. Together with Mimi June Vörösmarthy she'll be performing duet "Wally Funk's Race For Space" by Helen Arney and Jenna Dykchoff. Helena RaeburnSinger, actor, nerd… Helena performs everywhere from Cathedrals to Cabarets, from National Theatre to Royal Shakespeare Company, but tonight is her first performance at the home of science. Jenni PinnockJenni is a composer and pianist who loves combining quirky time signatures, soaring melodies and moments of stillness to create music about science, nature and stories - like tonight’s song collaboration with Helen and Helena. Khalil Thirlaway Whether it's hosting the Natural History Museum's podcast or designing board games about fish parasites, Khalil can be counted on to ask questions about our relationships with each other and the natural worldLev ParikianLev Parikian is a writer, conductor and bird nerd. He is bad at writing one-line biographies. Matt WinningAs a comedian and environmental researcher, Matt performs stand-up about climate change and recently authored HOT MESS: What on Earth can we do about Climate Change? - available from all good bookstores (and merch stalls) Mimi June VörösmarthyMimi is in their final year studying Musical Theatre at Leeds Conservatoire, via Kuala Lumpur and Santa Barbara. With Beth Bullas they collaborated on the song "Wally Funk's Race For Space" and will perform it for you tonight. Subhadra DasSubhadra Das is a historian who writes about science and society, and will be attempting to cram the entirety of her new book "Uncivilised" into the space of 12 minutes. Doors to the theatre will open at 6.30pm. The event will run from 7.00pm until 10pm. The bar will be open from 6pm and will close at 10.30pm.
