Come and join us for top tips, confidence boosting and inspiration on sending your writing out into the world. You don’t have to have been to SubClub before – everyone is welcome, regardless of what you’re writing and where you’re submitting: novels, short fiction, Creative/Narrative Non-fiction, articles, drama, you name it, we will support you!And if you don’t already have a working system for tracking your submissions, we’ll show you brilliant tricks for how to do it. Trust me – you need this. I’ve seen stories knocked off lists because their authors forgot where they’d sent what.60 interactive minutes on Zoom to help you feel energised and focused. Hope to see you there.The session will be as inclusive as possible. It will be close-captioned/subtitled. You are free to leave your camera off and to participate in discussion as much or as little as you prefer. If a free place enables you to join where you would otherwise miss out, then please use it.Free places are offered on trust and you will not be quizzed or asked for proof.About the workshop leaderAudrey Niven is a writer, creative coach and Editor In Charge at The Propelling Pencil. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English &amp; Philosophy from the University of Strathclyde and has studied with the Arvon Foundation, Faber Academy and Jericho Writers. She runs the Propelling Pencil Flash Competition and is an experienced workshop leader. Audrey also reads for The Bath Short Story Award, SI Leeds Literary Prize and judged the 2022 year’s Mslexia Flash Fiction Competition, giving her great insight into what it takes to catch a reader or judge’s eye.She’s won prizes for short story, flash fiction, drama, performance poetry and comedy. She won the Jericho Writers Opening Chapter prize at the Festival of Writing in 2018 and was a finalist in the Penguin Michael Joseph Christmas Love Story (novel) competition in 2021. Her Flash Fiction is published in multiple anthologies and literary magazines and has been nominated for both the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.
