The Propelling Pencil

If you'd like to enter our Autumn Flash Fiction competition - or are just thinking about it - and don't have anything drafted yet, come along to this one hour workshop. We will be sharing tips as well as writing prompts and giving you time to write and even to share if you would like to (don't worry, any sharing will be entirely voluntary).

One hour on Zoom, all you have to do is bring your own drinks, snacks and writing materials.
Last time we did this, people began stories that went on to be published and listed or placed in competitions. It was a real hit. 

As, Electra Rhodes always says “What’s the best that could happen?” This workshop will be run by Audrey Niven, a writer and coach whose stories have been widely anthologised. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net and, as well as being Editor in Charge at The Propelling Pencil, judged the Mslexia Flash Competition in 2022.
