In this talk we introduce the Huntley Collection. Named after the radical book publishers and pioneering Black political activists Eric and Jessica Huntley The collection charts their prolifically involvement with the British African - Caribbean community&#x27;s experience from their first arrival in England in 1956 to the twenty-first century.Speaker: Tom FurberTom Furber has been an Engagement at Learning Officer at London Metropolitan Archives since 2013. He enjoys spending his days sitting on top of literally miles and miles of London’s history, delving into it, and sharing it with anyone and everyone.About LMALondon Metropolitan Archives is free to use and open to everyone. We care for and provide access to the historical archives of businesses, schools, hospitals, charities and all manner of other organisations from the London area. With millions of books, maps, photographs, films and documents dating back to 1067 in our strong rooms, we’re proud to provide access to one of the finest city archives in the world - you could call it the memory of London.
