Join us to look at what anti-racism in education means and developments in anti-racist education in the last few years.

This event, led by Nuzhat Uthmani, will explore the developments in Scotland's Antiracism in education approaches over the last 3 years. Attendees will be provided with information about what antiracism in education means, how this impacts on the curriculum, student and teacher wellbeing as well as developing an understanding of the impact of racism in wider society.Nuzhat Uthmani is a primary teacher and Lecturer at Stirling University, specialising in antiracist education and global citizenship. She is Co Chair of the Scottish government's Diversity in the Teaching Profession Sub group of the Antiracism in Education Programme and provides a wide range of professional development opportunities and workshops to teachers, students and community partners across Scotland.
