Early Years - the organisation for young children is a non-profit making organisation and has been working since 1965 to promote high quality childcare for children aged 0 - 12 and their families.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 of Early Years - the organisation for young children will take place on Friday 24 November 2023, at 3:00pm, via Zoom.The AGM provides participating 2023/24 members with the opportunity to hear from senior Early Years staff and Board of Director representatives on key activities and focus areas undertaken over the previous year and proposed for the 2023/24 membership year.It also allows 2023/24 members to vote, and have their say, on important aspects such as Board of Directors and Early Years Council representation as well as essential policy and advocacy issues that the organisation should seek to progress over the 2023/24 year on behalf of membership.Following formal AGM proceedings, participants will hear from Guest Speaker, Chris Quinn—NI Children's Commissioner. Chris has served as Director of the NI Youth Forum since 2008. He was instrumental in setting up Belfast City Council’s first Youth Council and has promoted the voices of young people locally and internationally, including presentations to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Chris took up his post with NICCY on 18th September 2023 and will speak at this event on "Implementing Child's Rights in Early Childhood."J﻿OINING INFORMATION:
