Winstanley House

Get ready to time travel in a guided walk around Braunstone Park, find out about Local History - stories told in a brand new way!The guided tour is suitable for adults.Children aged 12+ can attend accompanied by an adult.We'll journey through the history of Winstanley House, revisit times when Braunstone Park was teeming with soldiers during the Second World War, listen to spine-chilling ghost stories, and delve into the cheerful days when Braunstone Hall served as a school.M﻿eet the Time Traveler at the start of your tour in front of Winstanley House Hotel at Leicester City Council Community Notice Board. The reference in photos and videos are below."Time Traveller" Guided Tour designed by Chandni Mistry visiting the Records Office, Braunstone History Group at Stables Museum and collaborating with people attending the tour and sharing their memories. Thank you for your support!Tours are now led by young people who completed training and have become Buzzing Roots' new cohort of Tour Guides.The walk will end at Winstanley House Cafe where you are welcome to purchase yourself a hot drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
