تركز هذه الجلسة على ثلاث مبادرات مختلفة للحرف اليدوية في الوطن العربي التي تواجه تحديات كبيرة لتعزيز 
 وضع الحرف اليدوية وقيمتها في المجتمع

الحرف كعنصر جوهري من التراثل﻿لحضور: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83960182189تشكل الحرف اليدوية عنصرا جوهريا من التراث المادي وغير المادي حول العالم. ولا يخلو الوطن العربي من التقاليد الحرفية منها الفن المعماري وبناء السفن وغير ذلك من الحرف المتعددة الوظائف. وعبر التاريخ كانت عملية القيام بأداء الحرفة وإنتاجها جزءا مهما يجمع فئات المجتمع ببعضها البعض. ولكن اليوم في مجتمعنا المعاصر، على الحرف اليدوية أن تجد أهمية ودلالة جديدة لكي تستمر كعنصر قيّم في المجتمع وليس فقط كإرث عصر منصرم.في هذه الجلسة التي تركز على ثلاث مبادرات مختلفة للحرف اليدوية في الوطن العربي، نسلط الضوء على أفراد ومؤسسات يواجهون تحديات كبيرة لتعزيز وضع الحرف اليدوية وقيمتها في المجتمع المعاصر.أولا، ستعرّض ندى علاء الدين &quot;دراسة حالة&quot; تستعرض فيها حالة المملكة العربية السعودية عبر المبادرات التي تنفذها مؤسسة &quot;جبل التركواز&quot; لتطوير قطاع الحرف اليدوية وربطها بمشروعات التصميم الحديثة. ثانيا، سيناقش رشاد سليم المشاريع التي يعمل عليها في العراق وذلك لإنقاذ تقاليد الحرف اليدوية بين عرب الأهوار وإعادة إحيائها. ثالثا، ستتحدث سارة واحدو عن عملها في الوطن العربي والذي يركز على الحرف اليدوية المغربية ويستوجب قابلية التصميم كأداة للتطوير الثقافي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي.يدير هذه الجلسة سيف الرشيدي من مؤسسة بركات ود. مي الإبراشي من جمعية مجاورة للفكر العمراني.ستقام هذه الجلسة باللغة العربية فقط.هذه الجلسة هي الخامسة في سلسلة من النقاشات التي تركز على الحفاظ على التراث في الوطن العربي وتمت بدعم مشكور من مؤسسة أغا خان للثقافة – برنامج التعليم.ع﻿ن المتحدثينندى عثمان علاء الدين هي خبيرة في التطوير الثقافي والتراثي وقد انضمت إلى مؤسسة جبل التركواز في المملكة العربية السعودية عام ٢٠١٧ حيث ساعدت في بناء شبكة محلية من المدربين والحرفيين والشركاء لدعم تنمية قطاع الحرف اليدوية في المملكة. وتعمل ندى مع عدد من الجهات الحكومية حيث شكلت وأدارت فريقا إبداعيا لتوثيق وتسجيل التراث المحلي بالأخص تقاليد الحرف اليدوية مع العمل على سد الفجوة بين المصممين والحرفيين والسوق. أسست ندى &quot;روافد&quot; الذي كان أول مشروع في سوريا يركز على الثقافة والتراث كمحرّك للتطوير الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في كل أرجاء البلاد، إضافة إلى عملها على بعض المشروعات الثقافية في أماكن أخرى في سوريا. حصلت ندى على الماجستير في العلاقات بين الثقافات والثقافة والسياحة من جامعة باريس الثالثة &quot;السوربون جديدة&quot;. وتسعى ندى دائما إلى الإبداع من خلال عملها وهواياتها وشغفها الشخصي ومن ذلك إنشائها لمساحة فكرية خاصة بها تسمى &quot;ورشة ٧٩&quot;.رشاد سليم هو فنان وباحث عراقي ألماني مهتم بتاريخ الثقافة والتكنولوجيا وتطورهما بشكل خاص في القوارب العتيقة والهندسة المعمارية الشعبية والنساجة وتراث الحرف اليدوية. هو فرد من عائلة &quot;سليم&quot; التي تُعتبر من رواد الحركة الفنية الحديثة في العراق. في العامين ١٩٧٧ و١٩٧٨ أبحر رشاد سليم كعضو شاب في طاقم المستكشف &quot;تور هيردال&quot; في قفة (قارب مدور صغير) من العراق حول الجزيرة العربية إلى جيبوتي، وبعد ذلك عام ٢٠١٣ قام برحلة تجريبية على نهر الدجلة من جنوب تركيا إلى الأهوار. من ضمن عمله على بلاد الرافدين يعمل رشاد منذ عام ٢٠١٥ على توثيق وحماية الثقافة المادية العراقية ولا سيما قواربها التقليدية ويسعى إلى إحيائها عن طريق مبادرات مثل شبكة أندية قوارب التراث العراقي. في العام 2021، وبتكليف من وزارة الثقافة العراقية، قام رشاد بالتعاون مع &quot;مشاريع السفينة&quot; لتمثيل العراق لأول مرة في المهرجان المعماري الاثني سنوي في فينسيا والذي حمل عنوان &quot;إعادة تخييل سفينة الطوفان- الجناح الاستكشافي&quot;.سارة واحدو فنانة تعيش وتعمل بين المغرب وفرنسا. ولدت سارة في فرنسا في عائلة مغربية تقليدية ودرست في مدرسة اولفير دو سارس العليا في باريس. ساهمت تربيتها في هذه البيئات المزدوجة الثقافة في جعل ممارستها الفنية دوما كعملية حوار مستمر. توازن سارة بين أشكال الفن المغربي التقليدي وأعراف الفن المعاصر هادفة إلى طرح الثقافات المنسية للإبداع الفني بوجهات نظر جديدة. تعمل سارة في الموقع نفسه ( in situ ) وتنتج أعمالا ترتكز على تفاعلاتها مع مجتمعات الحرفيين والباحثين أثناء استكشافها للمواقع التراثية والقطع الأثرية. كل عمل من أعمال سارة هو إما مشروع للتعلم، أو مشروع لتبادل المعرفة والحكايات الخاصة أو العامة. ساهمت سارة في عدد كبير من المعارض وحصلت على العديد من الإقامات الفنية في أوروبا والعالم العربي. يمثل سارة واحدو معرض «بولاريس» في باريس. Heritage through Crafts and DesignCrafts form a key component of tangible and intangible heritage around the world, and the Arab world is rich in craft traditions, from architecture to boatbuilding, to multifunctional objects. Historically craft processes and craft production structures were part of the glue that bound societies together. Today, in contemporary society, many crafts must find new relevance and new meaning to survive as valuable components of a society, not just as the legacy of a bygone age.In this webinar, focusing on three different craft initiatives from the Arab world we shed light on valuable examples of individuals and organisations that address the challenge of ensuring that crafts have real meaning in contemporary society.Firstly, taking Saudi Arabia as a case study, Nada Alaaeddine will showcase the initiatives being implemented by Turquoise Mountain to develop the local craft sector, and to link local crafts to high end design projects. Rashad Selim, will discuss the range of projects he was been working on in Iraq to save and revive the craft traditions of the Marsh Arabs. Finally, Sara Ouahhadou will speak about her own work focusing on Moroccan craft and questioning the capacity of design as a tool for economic, social and cultural development with a focus on the Arab world. The webinar will be moderated by Seif El Rashidi from The Barakat Trust, and Dr May al-Ibrashy from Megawra Built Environment Collective.This webinar will take place entirely in Arabic.This session is the 5th in an 8 part series of webinars focusing on the preservation of heritage in the Arab World. It has been made possible through the generous support of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture’s Education Department.About the speakersNada Osman Alaeddine is a cultural development and heritage expert who joined Turquoise Mountain in Saudi Arabia in 2017 where she has helped build a national network of trainers, artisans and partners to support the growth of the Kingdom’s crafts sector. Working closely a number of governmental bodies, Nada has assembled and spearheaded a creative team to document and record local heritage, and particularly crafts traditions, while bridging the gap between designers, craftsmen and women, and the marketplace. Nada started Rawafed which was the first project in Syria to focus on culture and heritage as a catalyst for socioeconomic development throughout the country, and also worked on a number of cultural projects elsewhere in Syria. Nada has an M.A in Intercultural Relations, Culture and Tourism from the Université de Paris III, Sorbonne Nouvelle. She endeavours to constantly create and innovate through her work, and through her personal hobbies and passions, including starting her own concept space, Atelier 79.Rashad Salim is an Iraqi-German artist and researcher whose work engages with the history and development of culture and technology, as reflected in ancient boats, vernacular architecture, textiles and craft heritage. He is a member of the Selim family, noted as pioneers of the modern art movement in Iraq. In 1977-78, as a young crew member on Thor Heyerdahl&#x27;s Tigris expedition, he voyaged on a reed bundle boat from Iraq around the Arabian Peninsula to Djibouti, and in 2013 travelled along the Tigris from Southern Turkey to the Marshes of Southern Iraq. As part of his wider work that concentrates on the region of Mesopotamia, since 2015 Rashad has worked to document and protect the endangered material culture of Iraq, particularly its traditional boats, and to revive them through initiatives including the Iraqi Heritage Boat Clubs Network. With Safina Projects, he presented Ark Re-imagined: the Expeditionary Pavilion as Iraq’s national participation in the Biennale Architettura 2021.Sara Ouhaddou is an artist living and working between Morocco and France. She was born in France into a traditional Moroccan family, where she studied at the École Olivier De Serres, Paris.Her upbringing in a dual culture setting informs her practice as a continuous dialogue. She strikes a balance between traditional Moroccan art forms and the conventions of contemporary art, aiming to place forgotten cultural continuities of artistic creation into new perspectives. She works in situ, producing works based on encounters with communities, craftsmen and researchers, while exploring heritage sites and objects. Each of her works is a project of learning, exchange of knowledge and intimate or universal stories. Sara has participated in a large number of exhibitions and residencies across Europe and the Arab world. She is represented by the Polaris Gallery, Paris.
