Free, fun and engaging science activities for kids funded by the Cotswold Community Fund.

Watermoor Parish Hall

Activity: Design and launch a rocket to see how far it will travel. The Bloodhound Car uses a parachute as one of its mechanisms to slow down safely. You will explore the science of air resistance through making and testing different types of parachutes and see the factors that affect drag.For whom? For children of age 5+ years accompanied by an adult and family groups. Booking criteria: Free workshop but booking essential. Light lunch included in both sessions.
