This social enterprise empowers communities to grow their own food and learn about the crucial role fungi play in the natural environment. Whether you are wanting to gain deeper insights into mycology or looking to connect with other fungi enthusiasts, we welcome you to join us in the Fungi Club community!

Wood Street Station

We will meet at 13:00 at Wood Street Overground Station in Walthamstow.Address: Wood Street Station E17 3LXTogether we learn. Come join the Fungi Club in a collaborative excursion into the wonderful world of mycology and mushrooms on Sunday 8th October. We’ll be spending around 2 hours exploring the fungi in the local area of Snaresbrook, sharing knowledge and expertise in a collaborative setting. On this walk, we’re trialling an informal ‘learning together’ system, where we all pitch in, ask questions and search the fungi books for answers ourselves. Whether you know a little or a lot about mushrooms, come along and join in. Everyone is welcome at The Fungi Club. If you have any specialist access needs please get in touch in advance to discuss.We like to take lots of photos! If you would prefer not to be photographed please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.For those interested in a more didactic system of learning we’re also hosting a fungi walk on the 28th with mycology expert Mario Tortelli in Hampstead Heath.
