Whether parents, grandparents or nannies, we try to do the very best for the children we look after. Words matter, and the way we talk to them has a huge impact on how they feel and how they interact with the world. No pressure then! The good news is that implementing a few guiding principles and tactics can be really transformative. Come along and hear Head Teacher of Dulwich Village Church of England Infants’ School, Helen Poyton, in conversation with local mum of four, Hester Vaizey.Helen will share some of her insights from over twenty years of working with young people, and discuss constructive, positive solutions to common scenarios that can challenge parents.
