All welcome to FREE ‘pizza and pop’ sessions before our evening lecture, from 6pm in the Grant Museum.

The Edinburgh Geological Society is one of the UK’s biggest geological societies. We organise a full and varied programme of excursions and lectures that bring together everyone from complete beginners to professional geologists interested in exploring the geology of Scotland and beyond.Our varied programme of illustrated lectures runs from October to Easter, on alternate Wednesday evenings. These meetings are open to the public, everyone is welcome and there is no charge. C﻿ome along to free Pizza and Pop before the lecture, a chance to meet the EGS President and members of Council, and find out more about the Edinburgh Geological Society. And eat pizza!S﻿upported by a generous donation by an EGS Member.
