Join our Intention to Action Clinic focused on decarbonising commercial buildings - share ideas and tackle challenges with other businesses

With more organisations declaring their commitment to tackling carbon emissions, and extreme climate events becoming more frequent, property owners are under increasing pressure to improve the sustainability credentials and climate resilience of their commercial buildings. Decarbonising your property can create a range of benefits, from a stronger market position, and better tenant retention to a significant reduction in running costs. However, it can be challenging to know where to start, how to select the best solutions for your building and determine what the short and long-term cost and carbon benefits will be. At our Intention to Action Clinic on 22 November, participants will gain a detailed understanding of what is involved in decarbonising a commercial building with Hedley Jones, Head of Net Zero and Refurbishment at <a href="https://www.workman.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Workman LLP.</a> We will also learn from the team at <a href="https://stridetreglown.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stride Treglown</a>, who have an extensive track record in retrofit and sustainable design. Participants will have the chance to explore this topic in depth in small groups and look at how to tackle some of the specific challenges they are facing. To facilitate small group discussions the workshop has limited capacity. We will be prioritising organisations that are currently working on decarbonisation or planning to do so in the coming year. Please note that this event is intended for those who are in direct control of their building - landlords or owner/occupiers. Please register your interest by 12 pm on Monday 6th November.
