Christmas is coming, and we have some seasonal science questions! Why do crackers go bang? How do fairy lights work? Why brussels sprouts make you fart?Join CBBC and YouTube presenter Maddie Moate for a dose of festive cheer as she answers all these questions and more in this interactive talk packed with demos and wacky Christmas facts.Maddie also explores how different people around the world celebrate the Christmas period, and the curious history behind festive traditions.This event is sure to leave you feeling cosy, curious and full of holiday spirit!Copies of Maddie’s latest book '<a href="https://geni.us/X6aHlD" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">A Very Curious Christmas</a>’ will be available to purchase after the event.This event is particularly suitable for ages 7+. As with all our family theatre talks, this event is designed to be enjoyed by adults and children together.
