Throughout the course of the day, we&#x27;ll explore fascinating topics, such as the limbic system, Linehan&#x27;s biosocial model of emotional regulation, and the components of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) as well as some practical skills and tools you can take directly into your client work should you choose to do so. As part of the learning, we’ll navigate the skills books for DBT which on their own, are incredibly difficult to navigate and explore the ones available on the market today. Whilst we cannot possibly teach you how to become a Dialectical Behavioural Therapist in a day, this training has proved time and time again to be helpful to clinicians to orientate themselves to a different, active way of thinking and being with clients during the course of the therapeutic work. In addition to the day, you will get a CPD certificate, copies of the slide deck and exclusive access to a private Facebook group to share your learning, get support and have access to a catalogue of resources to support you in the opening stages of adopting skills into your existing practice. If you need to contact the organiser outside of this then please do so by first emailing anjconsultancy@gmail.com and mark your subject heading with NIGHT &amp; DAY TRAINING URGENTBooking &amp; Entry Information:Course Start Time is set at 0915hrs - An invite to join the Zoom meeting will be sent to the email you provided with your booking at around 0900hrs on the day of the event. The training will begin at 0930hrs. This gives people time to log into the training, check video and sound and address any issues with gaining access so we can all begin the training at 0930hrs. The training is hosted on Zoom - please ensure you are familiar with Zoom and are able to access this prior to booking your place. Refunds &amp; Terms &amp; Conditions 1) Eventbite take 6.95% + £0.59p on each ticket sold. This is non-refundable to me as the organiser &amp; in the event of your cancellation, I am therefore unable to pass this refund onto you the consumer. 2) Cancellations with over a month&#x27;s notice will see you being able to claim a full refund minus the fees mentioned in point 1. There will be the option for you to move your booking date free of charge to another available training date on the calendar if there is space available to do so. 3) No refunds will be given for cancellation at under a month&#x27;s notice. It will however be possible to move your booking free of charge to another availble date as a gesture of goodwill if there are available spaces to do so. 4) If you do not attend the training, no refund will be given but it may be possible to transfer your booking in exceptional circumstances subject to discussion and availability to do so. 5) Late arrivals will not be admitted entry past the hour of 0930 on the day of training. Moving your date to another available slot in this situation if you have missed the start time will be subject to discussion after the training event has taken place. 5) If the organiser has to cancel the training due to sickness or other unavoidable events, a full refund (including the Eventbrite fees mentioned in point 1) will be given, or an offer will be made for you to transfer your place to another date, which will be added to the training schedule with at least 2-3 months notice to increase the chances of that cohort being able to arrange the move in dates without too much disruption to personal diaries and scheduling.
