Zero Waste Goods is a new, online marketplace and offline movement dedicated to showcasing Zero Waste products and brands. We host markets, events, collaborations and are launching our shop at the end of the year. We believe that business can be a force for good and that by buying less, buying better and being aware we can reduce our impact and give back to the Earth.

Upcycled Christmas Wreath WorkshopThe festive season is upon us! But this year 70% of the British public are looking to 'go green' and also do their part for the environment. Join us for this fun and interactive workshop and make your very own upcycled Christmas wreath and do just that. Made from 100% reclaimed fabric pieces that would otherwise be destined for landfill, you'll be working with your hands to design and create your own festive wreath, fit for hanging or gifting.What Will I Learn?This fabulous workshop will teach you knotting techniques and show you how to use up fabric scraps and make a beautiful addition to your seasonal decor. You may not have time to complete the whole wreath at this introductory workshop, but you’ll learn the basic principles and get started embellishing your wreath base. We’ll ensure you leave armed with the knowledge and skills to complete your project at home – just in time for Christmas!Level: Beginner What Do I Need To Bring?Bring: All materials are provided, but if you have fabric scraps you’d like to use, please do bring them alongThe 90-minute workshop includes:<ul><li>all materials to make your own festive wreath including fabric and base</li><li>an introduction to upcycling</li><li>an intimate group with skilled facilitators</li><li>techniques for planning your design, preparing your materials and knotting your wreath.</li></ul>About our FacilitatorThe workshop is hosted by Stitched Up; a grassroots collective that has grown from a passion for the environment, human-rights, style &amp; creativity. Today we are a not-for-profit co-operative of three women.From the Stitched Up HQ in Manchester they offer sewing and upcycling workshops, clothes swaps and sustainable fabric sales, as well as running educational events like talks and film screenings.
