Make Yourself Heard: Public Speaking for EducatorsPublic speaking is a necessary skill that opens doors for educators to make themselves heard. Here at Diverse Educators, we have developed a series of training sessions that will support you in articulating your vision, values and mission to all stakeholders. Part 1 - Monday 15th January 2024 4.00-5.00pmThe first session is an intensive look at how you can plan, develop and deliver talk in public so that you can create impactful messages. Part 2 - Monday 11th March 2024 4.00-5.00pmThis second session aims to support you in considering how to speak impactfully in public. It will cover planning, rehearsal and delivery style in a safe, supportive space with fellow educators. Nb/ B﻿oth sessions will be held on zoom, they will be recorded so purchasing the recording is also an option if you are unable to make either of the dates.O﻿ther Training Options:For trusts and teaching school hubs we can also offer Make Yourself Heard as a one-day, in person training session aimed to support colleagues in considering how to speak impactfully in public. It will cover planning, rehearsal and delivery style in a safe, supportive space with fellow educators. The group size will be deliberately small, so that you have the opportunity to receive meaningful feedback. She spent 20 years in schools as a teacher and leader, she now works full time as a speaker, trainer and consultant on the curriculum. She is the author of ‘A Little Guide for Teachers: Diversity in Schools’ and the Co-Editor of ‘Diverse Educators: A Manifesto’.Hannah Wilson also spent 20 years in schools as a teacher and leader, she is now a leadership development consultant, an executive coach/ mentor and a DEI trainer.
