Our panel will be chaired by The RT. Hon Alastair Burt, formerly Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa.Other panellists will include Cindy Yu Assistant Editor at The Spectator, Dr Hugo Meijer CNRS Research Fellow at Sciences Po, Centre for International Studies, Dr Avinash Paliwal Reader in International Relations at SOAS and Dr Simona Soare Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Technology at Lancaster University.Organised around the themes of interdependence and rivalry, the Roundtable will explore how Britain - as a European yet globally ambitious power - can position itself in relation to the Sino-US rivalry and in the Indo-Pacific.
